Effective Date: October 15, 2026
LT Handyman & Construction Services, Inc. (“LT Handyman,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information collected through our website at lthandymanconstructionservices.com (the “Site”), through our estimate request form, through text messages, and in connection with our remodeling, repair and construction services.
By using the Site, submitting a form, or opting in to receive text messages from us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Your name, email address, phone number and city when you submit our estimate request form.
- The project or repair details you choose to describe.
- Anything else you tell us by phone, text or email.
- Whether you agreed to receive text messages, and when.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information such as IP address, browser type, operating system and screen size.
- Pages viewed, time on the Site and the website that referred you.
- Marketing attribution signals passed in the address you arrived at, such as UTM parameters and advertising click IDs (gclid, fbclid, msclkid, ttclid), and whether you arrived from a search engine, a map listing, a referral or an AI assistant such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Gemini or Claude.
- A record of how you first found the Site and how you most recently arrived, kept in your browser’s local storage and sent to us with your estimate request.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your estimate request, schedule a visit and provide an estimate.
- To communicate with you about your project, including by phone, email and, where you have opted in, text message.
- To understand which marketing channels bring people to us, and to improve the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Text Messages (SMS)
SMS opt-in
Text messages are optional. If you tick the text-message box on our estimate request form, or otherwise agree to receive texts, you agree to receive text messages from LT Handyman at the number you provided. These may include estimate follow-ups, appointment scheduling and reminders, project updates and customer service messages. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase or estimate.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for our text messages.
Opting out and help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (619) 244-1988.
Your number is not shared for marketing
Your mobile number and text-message consent are never sold, rented or shared with third parties for their marketing. We share them only with the service provider that delivers our messages (see Section 4), which may use them only to do so.
4. Cookies, Local Storage and Third-Party Services
The Site uses cookies, browser local storage and similar technologies to:
- Record how you first found the Site and how you most recently arrived, so we know which marketing channels lead to estimate requests.
- Measure how the Site is used and how it performs.
- Remember a choice you made to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Services we use
Each of these may process data under its own privacy policy:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics (GA4): website analytics and measuring estimate requests.
- GoHighLevel (HighLevel): our customer database, which receives estimate requests and sends text messages.
- Vercel: website hosting.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: protects the estimate request form from automated spam by checking whether a visitor is a person.
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. The Site works without them, though we will not know how you found us. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal: if your browser sends it, advertising storage and advertising signals are switched off before any analytics tag loads. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland have analytics and advertising storage switched off by default.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:
- With service providers that help us run the business (the services listed in Section 4), who may use it only to provide those services to us.
- With subcontractors working on your project, only the details they need to do that work.
- For legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of LT Handyman, our customers or others.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of the business, subject to this Policy.
6. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, our legal obligations and resolving disputes, then delete or anonymize it.
8. Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you, its sources, and who we have shared it with.
- Delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, but you can record your choice at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out.
- Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, call us at (619) 244-1988. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site links to other websites, such as the California Contractors State License Board and our client portal. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
